Where is it said that Life is Fair

i am an engineer !! yes , i am !
my two years of preps for the so called ' engineering entrance ' was huuuuuge.
i loved doing the multiple choice questions. it had something in it which always attracted me. thus i did more and more of those questions. when i started performin wel in them naturaly an idea came to everyone's head; why not try the engineering entrance seriously the first time itself instead of having to appear for it again after a year's preps(it would also cause the world to label you as 'repeaters'). Thus i preared well , wrote my exams and i am proud to be a topper in it. i always loved electronics adn had wanted to take it as a career.
i got admission in the best college in the state.
i was on the way to becomming an engineer.
College days were beyond imagination. Mostly the freedom. Secondly the exposure..
it lacked only one thing. guess what ? Engineering teaching
no classes, no teachers, notin....
But all studied and pased ( not all though) . same as the case with any government college.
we completed four years . now i have a job. i have a career.
BUT WAIt..... Just look back
i studied electronics. But now i am in a job that demands software knowlege. i think of my four years of electronics. i dont use it now. its for that electroncs i prepared for two years. i gave up my enjoyment and worked like hell. i discarded all those desires i had and led a life of commitment, dedication and optimism. But tday i am at the mercy of the software industry diety who nourishes most of the indian youth. i have sacrificed the interests of my life for my daily bread.
This is not just my case. this is the same with hundreds of thousands of people.
It happens.
Is This Fair ?
But, where is it said that Life is Fair ?
